A Chicago lottery player is celebrating a $1 million win after matching all six numbers in the Saturday, October 3, Lotto Million 1 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Armanetti Town Beverage Mart, located at 10000 S. Western Ave. in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood. The winning numbers were 15-19-26-29-39-49.

🎉 A Big Win for a Local Store

Store owner Chirag Patel said he was shocked when his manager called to tell him about the winning ticket.

“I’ve been the owner for 11 years. We’ve sold many winning lottery tickets, but this is the biggest one.”

Patel said he hopes the lucky winner is one of the store’s regular customers.

The store will also get a $10,000 bonus for selling the $1 million winning ticket. That bonus equals 1% of the prize.

What Happens Next?

The lucky player has one year from the October 3 drawing date to claim the $1 million prize.

The Illinois Lottery recommends that the winner:

  • Sign the back of the ticket
  • Keep it somewhere safe
  • Follow the official steps to claim the prize

Patel said he plans to share the store’s bonus with his employees, calling them the “heartbeat” of the business. He also joked that customers should stop by because the store is now the neighborhood’s “lucky store.”

So far this year, Illinois Lottery players have claimed nearly 4.6 million winning Lotto tickets, with total prizes topping $50.7 million.
