Monday night’s Set For Life lottery draw was delayed, leaving players waiting for the results later than usual.
The draw normally takes place at around 8 p.m. BST every Monday and Thursday, but by 9 p.m., it still had not been held.
The National Lottery responded to questions from players on X, confirming there was a short delay.
“There is a short delay to tonight’s Set For Life draw. We’ll bring you the draw as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience.”
The issue was not the first delay of its kind. A similar problem happened in April 2026, when the National Lottery apologized after a technical fault pushed back the scheduled draw.
The Set For Life draw eventually went ahead at about 9:02 p.m., more than an hour after its usual start time.
