How to claim a Vermont Lottery prize

Prize claims depend on the amount won:

  • Up to $499: Claim at any authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Lottery Headquarters with your signed winning ticket.
  • $500 to $5,000: Prizes can be claimed at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
  • More than $5,000: Winners must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. A signed ticket, government-issued photo ID and completed claim form are required.

All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
