How to Claim a Vermont Lottery Prize
The claim process depends on the prize amount:
- Up to $499: Can be claimed at an authorized Vermont Lottery retailer or at Lottery Headquarters with the signed winning ticket.
- $500 to $5,000: Can be claimed at any M&T Bank location in Vermont during Lottery business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state holidays.
- More than $5,000: Winners must claim the prize in person at Vermont Lottery Headquarters. A signed ticket, government-issued photo ID, and completed claim form are required.
Important: All prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
