Louisiana Lottery retailers can cash prizes of up to $600. If your prize is more than $600, you'll need to claim it either by mail or in person at a Louisiana Lottery office. Prizes over $5,000 must be claimed at a Lottery office.

Claiming by Mail

Before mailing your winning ticket, make sure you:

• Sign the back of the ticket and complete all required information.
• Remove all scratch-off material from scratch-off tickets so barcodes remain visible.
• Make a copy of the front and back of the ticket (except Mega Millions and Powerball tickets, which cannot be claimed using photocopies).
• Fill out the Louisiana Lottery Prize Claim Form.
• Include a copy of your valid driver's license or another government-issued photo ID.
• Mail everything together to:
